LESLIE ARTHUR OWNER / INSTRUCTOR Email: larthur@valleydanceproductions.com	Leslie was born and raised in the Roanoke Valley and spent the majority of her life teaching here. In addition to her local training, she has traveled from New York to Orlando furthering her dance education. She has studied with dance legends such as Frank Hatchett, Luigi, Debbie Dee and Mandy Moore. Her performances and choreography have won many top awards at competitions. Leslie has worked with the Rockbridge Modern Dance Company and the Southwest Virginia Ballet Company as a guest tap instuctor. In 1999-2003 she worked with Halestone Dance Studio in Lexington, Virginia developing and directing their tap program. Leslie is certified member of Dance Educators of America in Ballet and Tap.
*Rebecca began her studies in ballet with the Vagonova technique. Her dance and scholastic studies carried her to Point Park University in Pittsburg, PA where she studied both on dance* *and scholasic scholarships and graduated Magna cum Laude with a B.A. in Dance. She has studied dance styles such as pas de duex, jazz, modern, tap, charachter and folk, as well as dance history* *and dance choreography/composition . KORTNEY EMERT INSTRUCTOR Email: dancinfeet2007@aol.com	Kortney is new to the Valley Dance Productions faculty this year. She started dancing at the early age of six and has trained extensively here in the Roanoke Valley in the subjects of Ballet, Tap ,Jazz, Hip Hop , Lyrical and Pointe. In the fall of 2007 Kortney had the privilege to have studied the Nikolais Louis method of Modern through Shenandoah University. Kortney has also had the opportunity to travel and study with well renowned faculty members such as Pamela Bolling, Tom Alexader, Kacy Combs, Sky Hoffman and Marty Kudelka.
